Go live was on time and under budget

We run four warehouses and two companies on this and the consolidation works. Manufacturing depth well beyond its price point. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

What works

Integrated ecommerce, stock and accounting in a single database. Multi warehouse transfers are visible and auditable. Stock on hand matches the physical count for the first time in years.

What does not

Implementation cost more than the licence, as expected but still painful.

Two years in and we still use half of it

The software is capable. Our implementation was mediocre and we are still paying for that. Manufacturing depth well beyond its price point. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. I would shortlist it, not necessarily pick it.

What works

Manufacturing depth well beyond its price point. The financials module is solid.

What does not

The local statutory reporting depends entirely on the partner. Remote access needs a hosted desktop.

Go live was on time and under budget

The implementation partner was excellent, which I think matters more than the badge. A free community edition for businesses that can self host. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. I would recommend it to a business of our size without hesitation.

What works

A free community edition for businesses that can self host. Multi warehouse transfers are visible and auditable. Consolidation across our companies takes days rather than weeks.

What does not

Implementation cost more than the licence, as expected but still painful.

Traceability paid for itself in one audit

Two years post go live and I would make the same decision. Integrated ecommerce, stock and accounting in a single database. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

What works

Integrated ecommerce, stock and accounting in a single database. Stock on hand matches the physical count for the first time in years. Traceability from raw material to finished goods is complete.

Traceability paid for itself in one audit

Two years post go live and I would make the same decision. Manufacturing depth well beyond its price point. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

What works

Integrated ecommerce, stock and accounting in a single database. Landed cost calculations are accurate including duty and clearing. Branch reporting comes out without a spreadsheet in between.

What does not

Configuration changes need the partner rather than an internal administrator.

Good core, dated interface

Good system, and you must budget for the support relationship indefinitely. One licence covering every application rather than module by module pricing. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. It is a reasonable choice, provided you know what it does not do.

What works

A free community edition for businesses that can self host. Reporting is capable once configured.

What does not

Remote access needs a hosted desktop. Version upgrades are projects rather than updates.

Landed cost is finally accurate

The partner made the difference, not the software

Two years post go live and I would make the same decision. One licence covering every application rather than module by module pricing. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. If you are weighing it up, do the trial with your own data and you will see it.

What works

Integrated ecommerce, stock and accounting in a single database. Traceability from raw material to finished goods is complete. Landed cost calculations are accurate including duty and clearing.

What does not

The interface is dense and training is a real line item.
