The partner made the difference, not the software

The implementation partner was excellent, which I think matters more than the badge. The largest ERP implementation partner base in South Africa. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

What works

Manufacturing and bill of materials without moving up a tier. Landed cost calculations are accurate including duty and clearing. Multi warehouse transfers are visible and auditable.

What does not

The interface is dense and training is a real line item.

Powerful, and it demands a specialist

Good system, and you must budget for the support relationship indefinitely. Local statutory reporting maintained by the vendor. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. Good value, with some real rough edges.

What works

Strong multi warehouse and multi branch handling. The financials module is solid.

What does not

Remote access needs a hosted desktop. The local statutory reporting depends entirely on the partner.

Thank you for the review. We are glad the compliance side is working well for you. On the reporting point, we would like to show you what is possible with the custom report builder, so please book a session with our team.

Powerful, and it demands a specialist

It does everything we asked for and none of it was quick. Strong multi warehouse and multi branch handling. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. It is a reasonable choice, provided you know what it does not do.

What works

Local statutory reporting maintained by the vendor. The financials module is solid.

What does not

Reporting requires a specialist to build. The local statutory reporting depends entirely on the partner.

Renewal came in forty percent higher

Under scoped implementation, and we discovered it after go live. In practice, the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. It has cost us more time than it has saved. We moved to an alternative and the difference was immediate.

What works

It is stable once running.

What does not

The implementation ran badly over time and budget. Renewal pricing increased well beyond inflation. We are still running parallel spreadsheets.

Traceability paid for itself in one audit

The implementation partner was excellent, which I think matters more than the badge. Strong multi warehouse and multi branch handling. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

What works

The largest ERP implementation partner base in South Africa. Consolidation across our companies takes days rather than weeks. Traceability from raw material to finished goods is complete.

What does not

The interface is dense and training is a real line item.

One system across four branches

The implementation partner was excellent, which I think matters more than the badge. The largest ERP implementation partner base in South Africa. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

What works

Local statutory reporting maintained by the vendor. Branch reporting comes out without a spreadsheet in between. Traceability from raw material to finished goods is complete.

What does not

Configuration changes need the partner rather than an internal administrator.

Stock and the ledger finally agree

We run four warehouses and two companies on this and the consolidation works. Manufacturing and bill of materials without moving up a tier. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

What works

Strong multi warehouse and multi branch handling. Landed cost calculations are accurate including duty and clearing. Multi warehouse transfers are visible and auditable.

What does not

Implementation cost more than the licence, as expected but still painful.

Powerful, and it demands a specialist

The software is capable. Our implementation was mediocre and we are still paying for that. The largest ERP implementation partner base in South Africa. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. I would shortlist it, not necessarily pick it.

What works

The largest ERP implementation partner base in South Africa. Reporting is capable once configured.

What does not

Version upgrades are projects rather than updates. The local statutory reporting depends entirely on the partner.

Right system, wrong implementation partner

It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. I would shortlist it, not necessarily pick it.

What works

The largest ERP implementation partner base in South Africa. The partner network means help is available.

What does not
