Does the basics well, the extras are upsells

It is capable. Getting the team to use it consistently took much longer than the software took to set up. On premises deployment available where cloud is not an option. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. I would shortlist it, not necessarily pick it.

What works

Orders flow into the Sage back office without a sync job. Setup was fast.

What does not

Support escalation is slow on technical issues. Reporting is limited without moving up a tier.

Exchange rate makes budgeting a yearly argument

We use about a third of it and pay for all of it. Sold and supported by the existing Sage partner network. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. I would shortlist it, not necessarily pick it.

What works

On premises deployment available where cloud is not an option. Setup was fast.

What does not

Reporting is limited without moving up a tier. The interface is dense for a new user.

Thank you for this. We recognise the pricing concern and would like to review your plan with you, as there may be a better fit for your usage. Our team will be in touch.

Fine product, and the dollar billing makes the budget conversation annoying. On premises deployment available where cloud is not an option. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. I would shortlist it, not necessarily pick it.

What works

On premises deployment available where cloud is not an option. Contact and deal management are solid.

What does not

Support escalation is slow on technical issues. The interface is dense for a new user.

The pipeline is finally accurate

We moved off a spreadsheet and the difference in forecast quality was immediate. Sold and supported by the existing Sage partner network. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

What works

On premises deployment available where cloud is not an option. Quoting from the record removed a handoff to admin. Reporting answers the questions the sales meeting actually asks.

What does not

The features we needed sat one tier above the one we were quoted.

Reps update it without being nagged

We moved off a spreadsheet and the difference in forecast quality was immediate. On premises deployment available where cloud is not an option. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Worth the migration effort, which is not something I say often.

What works

Live credit limit and stock availability inside the sales record. Reporting answers the questions the sales meeting actually asks. Automation handles the follow up sequence reps used to forget.

What does not

Billing in dollars makes the annual budget a moving target.

Forecast is within five percent every month

Six reps, eighteen months in, and the pipeline is the most accurate it has ever been. Live credit limit and stock availability inside the sales record. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. Nothing has come up in the last year that I would call a real problem. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

What works

Orders flow into the Sage back office without a sync job. The pipeline view gives an honest picture of the month. Email sync captures conversations without anyone copying anything.

What does not

The features we needed sat one tier above the one we were quoted.

Capable, but the team resisted it for months

We use about a third of it and pay for all of it. Sold and supported by the existing Sage partner network. Beyond that it is more ordinary than the marketing suggests. It sits squarely in the middle for us, useful but not something I would champion. It is a reasonable choice, provided you know what it does not do.

What works

Live credit limit and stock availability inside the sales record. Setup was fast.

What does not

The interface is dense for a new user. There is no local accounting integration without Zapier.

Worth every rand once the automation was built

The automation removed about four hours a week of follow up admin per rep. Orders flow into the Sage back office without a sync job. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

What does not

Onboarding a new rep takes longer than it should.
