Onboarding admin dropped by half

Managers approve leave from their phones now, which was the whole point. Custom reporting an HR manager can drive unaided. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. It is not perfect, and it is the right choice for us.

Leave requests left email and never came back

We had leave in a shared spreadsheet for six years. This was overdue. A workflow builder that removes routine approval admin. That is the part that genuinely changed how we work. There are irritations, and none of them are the kind that make you look elsewhere. Two years in and nobody has suggested we look at alternatives.

Support hours never overlap with ours

The leave rules never matched the BCEA properly and we gave up correcting them. The honest position is that the parts we were sold on never worked the way they were demonstrated. The gaps are the kind that create work rather than save it. It may suit a simpler business than ours.

What works

The employee database itself is fine.

What does not

Support hours do not overlap with our working day. Leave rules never matched South African requirements. The interface is dated and slow.
